1. Migration - if this didn't happen, the account details you used to log into the app are DIFFERENT than the account details you used in the old Gratitude app. They need to be an exact match in order for the system to locate your old Gratitude journal.


2. You will find location option under your DEVICE settings (not the app settings). Scroll down to find Gratitude app then change your settings. If that fails, just delete the app completely and reinstall it.


3. Not sure why the emoji locked the app up. I've never heard of that before. What type of device are you using?

Thanks for your message. The 4 number code is to passcode protect your account so no one can view your journal. The password is to log into your account database. They are 2 different things. Everyone needs a password, but not everyone uses a passcode. I hope this makes sense!

It probably had an issue connecting to the database. Just close it COMPLETELY and reopen. It will work!

Thanks for the screen shots...that's VERY helpful.


You will not find the app under Privacy. Rather, just go to your device SETTTINGS and scroll down. There you will find Gratitude and the opportunity for you to allow location.


Failing that, DELETE the app completely from your device and reinstall it.

Have you allowed location on the app? If not, it will say Hilton Head...best bet is to just delete and reinstall to reset everything...you won't lose your data if you log in with the same details.

Just to confirm, you allowed location services in the settings, correct? What type of device are you using? It's working on my phone and our testing phones...so more details is helpful!
